This little girl was very lucky to survive the Tsunami after being grabbed by her clothing in her uncles teeth. He got her to the top of a tree where they were rescued a few hours later. Unfortunately her mother perished in the wave.

The little girls father who is a Tuk Tuk driver moved into his mothers home for a while. His brother, (the one who saved the little girl) started to build an extention on the side of their mums house so they could all live together. The uncle had his own little family a wife and two small children.                                       

After a while he started clearing the site to start building. As he was digging a boulder was dislodged and came tumbling down the bank and landed on him crushing him between two big stones. The kids ran to get help and it took 45 people to pull the stones apart. By this time it was too late. He had lost his life trying to rebuild everyone elses future. Now the whole family live together with his mum, his 2 brothers and all the children.

We now have a sponsor for these two families and they are starting to get their lives together again.
